‘Gambling’ can be defined as a game of chance, which involves the use of stakes (any valuable possession that you may want to offer in exchange for a chance to win the stakes of all the other players). The winner wins all the stakes of the other players but the worst part of gambling is that the winner need not compensate the losers for their loss.

Casinos, card games, slot machines, horse racing, poker, and bingo are some of the most popular forms of gambling. In fact, lottery is one of the most popular forms of gambling, preferred by a middle-class person, which requires the participant to buy a lottery ticket of his choice and wait until the lot is made and the winner is declared. Lotteries offer varying amounts of prize money or gift item that is pre-decided and mentioned on the lottery ticket.

However, gambling and lottery are not patronized in any Islamic nation because in Islam, gambling is a taboo and no Islamic national is supposed to indulge in gaining easy money, which involves the game of chance or which robs the other people of their hard earned money or possessions. Gambling is therefore considered haram by Islam. However, gambling continues to grow popular in the other parts of the world and people love to play lottery and gambling games.

In fact, many top nations in the world have legalized lottery and have even opened Government-run state-lotteries to amass the public money and utilize it for the common benefit of the public. For instance, in countries like Spain, France, Canada, Belgium, U.K, several states in U.S (including Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, etc), there are several licensed casinos operating, because in these countries, lotteries are a popular form of entertainment and the social stigma associated with it is minimal. Therefore, gambling is considered not like a vice, but as a fun-filled game in these countries. And the proceedings form the lotteries and gambling is used for building public amenities.

The craze for lotteries and gambling is very high across the globe and people from all income groups are found to be indulging in gambling. In fact, lotteries have earned the name – “tax on stupidity” because there are very remote chances of winning in a lottery, when compared to the other popular forms of gambling, and yet we stupidly keep buying lottery tickets in the hope of winning some day. Since the revenue generated from gambling is used for social service such as for the construction of roads, schools and hospitals, it is used more or less like the taxes paid by us. Hence it has earned the name – “tax on stupidity”.

A great matter of concern today is that lotteries and gambling have become just a little too common. The trend is so high that numerous instances of compulsive gambling have also been reported from different parts of the world. The patient suffering from compulsive gambling have been reported to experience temper tantrums, depression, anxiety, and a lot other behavioral anomalies such as taking loans secretly from everyone around them to obtain the money to participate in another round of gambling. Although their family members do not give their approval, these patient disobey them and go ahead to participate in gambling. They become very violent and aggressive and desperately want to gamble and win by all means.

Gambling must only be played for the sake of pure enjoyment and not as a means of earning a livelihood. Lottery or gambling is acceptable as long as nothing valuable is put at stake and little prizes are used as stakes, so that no one loses out on any hard earned possessions.

It is because people come in many shapes and sizes, that chair manufacturers chose to make chairs for discriminating users adaptable. If they had not done that, then there would have to be dozens of chairs with different dimensions to suit all sorts of people. Therefore, office chair manufacturers have very cleverly passed the cost of a simple chair onto the business population.

However, given the fact that it is not easy to buy a decent chair if you are not of standard proportions, you will have to buy an adjustable chair. This situation appertains to the environment of an office, where workers frequently sit for eight hours barely moving a muscle in their torso.

This state of affairs often causes lower back and neck problems. The basic fact is that you need to be able to sit on your chair comfortably with your thighs level and your feet flat on the floor. In an office environment, this usually means buying adjustable chairs, because of the through-put of staff and the variety in the size of the human body.

This is not so much of a predicament if you only do a few hours surfing the Internet when you get in, but it is a totally different kettle of fish if you stay at a desk for protracted lengths of time. In general, the longer you plan to remain at your desk, the better quality chair you will require.

Therefore, if you are a full-timer, a professional, you have to have the best. If you are working for yourself, you have to have the best and if you are working for someone else, you can not afford to put up with substandard seating, which could lead to injury and, ultimately, the sack later on.

If you are frequently on your feet or in and out of the office, you can afford to be more lenient with the specifications essential for someone who is chained to the desk virtually eight hours a day except for breaks. Secretaries fall into this group. They frequently have to go to filing cabinets and welcome people into the office.

The power users are the executives who are office bound and individuals like telesales people. They literally remain in their seats all their working day except for breaks and so they have to have the best safety gear available. Make no mistake about it, an ergonomic chair is every bit as important for an office worker as a safety belt is for a chauffeur or taxi driver.

If you buy yourself a cheap non-ergonomic chair or allow your boss to lumber you with one, you only have yourself to blame, if you acquire a bad back or a stiff neck. However, office industrial related injuries do not stop there. There is repetitive strain injury too, which can be extremely painful and last for years, causing you to have to give up your office job.

All of these facts are well documented by the health care profession and the unions, so if you want to make sure that you will be working in that office job for the foreseeable future, pick up a few pamphlets and read up on it.

Electronic cigarette dangers are not common to people and there are even speculations that these devices do not have any side-effects. But the real deal here is for people to find out why it can be a better alternative to the regular cigarettes since it is, after all, a technological device that has surpassed the use of regular nicotine cigarettes.

Older people especially to those who are used to smelling the aroma of regular nicotine sticks definitely will like it to have this cigarettes stick around. The release of electronic cigarettes heighten interest the doubts of people and why it is found safer than tobacco. More so, that it is not yet a household name. Electronic cigarettes though aren’t complicated devices and health buffs will easily see how easy it works.

How it works is mainly focused on its goals. An electronic device is there to help convince the person using it that he/she is smoking a regular nicotine-filled cigarette. This goal is already enough to minimize the harmful effects that a regular nicotine stick give to a person’s body. The vapor that is inhaled by the smoker from this gadget is only a nicotine solution which gives off the same effect that a regular cigarette would making this device, safer than tobacco.

We call can say that different smokers consider different benefits from a regular nicotine but helpful or not, it’s still damaging to a human’s body system. There is no reason for anyone of us to panic or to doubt even the use of these electric devices even when people and skeptics continue to claim that there high electronic cigarette dangers.

How can a smoking device be helpful for anyone? Yes, some people do think that there is nothing good that electronic cigarettes can give and they do not believe that it is safer than tobaccos. How it works is to simply simulate the real effects of nicotine in regular cigarettes and convince the user that he/she not using an electronic device. Since it only simulates, the foreign ingredient that it puts to the body is nothing harmful than what regular cigarettes bring and this is indeed a true declaration that electronic cigarettes are safer than tobacco.

Perhaps, the cell phone industry is already the most sought after market when it comes to having the latest and most innovative gadgets in the metro scene. Motorola is amongst the many mobile brands that come up with a new and high tech device from time to time. The latest addition would be the Motorola RIZR Z10.

Motorola ROKR E8: The Motorola ROKR E8 is also known as Moto ROKR E8. It is a GSM or GPRS camera phone that has easy to use controls, which allow a quick transition from the phone to an MP3 player and to an imaging device. This phone has an interesting backlight touch keyboard, a two-megapixel camera with 262K-color display using QVGA, 2 GB of micro SD memory card, and an internal memory of 2 GB. The MOTO ROKR E8 also has a 3.5 mm jack for headphones and an FM radio.

Sony Ericsson W960: Once in a while, we, as consumers, witness partnerships of big name companies that offer us products that either fall short of expectations or thrill and delight us in many ways. Apparently, the cellular phone industry is not excluded from this trend. For most, if not all of us, the names Sony and Ericsson are brands that need no further introduction.

Sony Ericsson W580i: The W580i is another product by the Sony and Ericsson combined effort. The unit’s stylish and no frills design utilizes a slide opening mechanism and is available in equally attractive silver / orange and black / orange color combinations. The new Walkman logo right beneath the screen alone is enough to make most mobile phone aficionados’ hearts start pumping. Most especially true for the music loving mobile phone user looking for seamless cell phone and media player integration. The W580i’s music player can play back not only MP3 files but AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ and WMA files as well, making it versatile. So Apple users would certainly delight in this fact as a lot of Mac users prefer the AAC format.

Samsung L320: With the L320, Samsung unveils a sleek mobile phone with the female demography in mind. It is part of Samsung’s La Fleur collection which also includes the Samsung L310. Its design utilizes the smooth operating clamshell type blueprint with dual screens (OLED and TFT) which exudes femininity and modern metropolitan chic. The OLED display works as an external screen to allow quick viewing of information when the clamshell is closed. Once opened, the internal screen of 1.9 inches with up to 65k colors is revealed in all its 176 x 220 pixel glory. I’m guessing the clamshell body would be a definite hit among the female consumers as they can easily drop their mobile phones inside their purses or handbags among other things, without the need to purchase additional protective shells or silicone cases to keep their phones from getting nicked or scratched.

Bill Bowman reviews and shows you how to find BlackBerry Car Chargers For Sale and Fragrance Gift Sets For Sale online.

The great arguments among the Christians and the Mormons is that the Mormons will not accept the Christian creeds. The belief here is that the very same reasons that exclude the Mormons or the Latter Day Saints from Christianity as it is known today also excludes the original Christians of the New Testament .what is the big reference here is to the nicean creed or any other creeds that came after the Bible.

As far as using other books beside the Bible an argument of the Mormons are Christians will be quick to point out that the early Christians were not either. They will bring to the point the name of the New Testament itself which indicates that it was a new volume of Scripture. The consensus is that there are many new volumes regarding this Scripture. They will note that many of the early Christians did give credence to the Gospel of Matthew but that there were Jewish writings as well and there are other books accepted by the early Christians that are not being used today such as the book of Enoch. So the bottom line comes down to that if the society of Christianity is not going to accept the Mormons as being Christians of today then they have to put what were called Christians in the biblical days into the same category as being non-Christian.

Wasn’t it just in the past few years the mormons have started to pretend to be Christians in order to better fit into society?

It has to be taken into consideration that many years ago that the Mormons made no claim to be part of the Christian religion. The argument now being raised by Christians is that the Mormons have taken a opposite approach to this because they want to be able to fit into society and a better way. The argument from the seniors of the Mormon church denied this and stated that they have changed nothing since their inception back in the beginning when Joseph Smith puts the church of latter day saints together.

In respect to this argument they will make several references to Joseph Smith’s prophecies and writing they will further go on to say that the concept that Mormons are definitely Christians are accepted by anyone that is familiar with the Church of Mormons should be pointed out that many of the writings of the Mormons will make it very clear that they had no intention of becoming just another Church of America.

It is believed that the inception of this church was based on Joseph Smiths vision that God wanted him to bring a new church to earth because none that were here were correct. Great exception is taken to the fact that many Christians will refer to theMormons as being a form of cult. Any individual that is part of Mormonism holds a high caliber of respect for Joseph Smith. It must be remembered that he has been accepted as being a prophet of the religion and is the only one that had the right to set the tone for what the church would stand for. The Mormons profess of a letter from a past congressmen who have heard Joseph Smith preach and found no discourse with Christianity. It is writings like this that they will heavily dependent on in support their claims

The real problem comes down to where it is almost a play on words when trying to discern just exactly what the Mormons do stand for and what they do not. There is no doubt that they believe in many segments of the Bible however in respect to Joseph Smiths teaching there have been additions and exceptions and this is where the argument from the Christian standpoint comes into play that there now are no exceptions to what is written in the Bible

In respect to the argument that Mormons are now referring to Jesus Christ more than what they did years ago it is pointed out that Ted Jones who was a Baptist missionary brought up the very same complaint back in 1912 therefore if it was evident then that the Mormons were relying on the term Christianity certainly is not something that has been just surfacing in the last few years.

We all like to do up our houses trying to make our nest the most beautiful place to live in. In the process we only end up concentrating on the style factor. You also have to check on the balance and tranquility of diverse elements in your home. Thankfully, you have Feng Shui to help with this.

The entry way of your home is the first concern in Feng Shui. After all, the entry way is where all the peace and prosperity will enter your home from. It’s the face of your home as any person that visits your house notices the entry way first of all. It is important that the entry way should have an air of comfort and relaxation around itself. This makes a contribution to brightening your mood when you enter your house.

It is highly important the entry way of your house be freed from debris. Any sort of besiege in the entrance restricts the Chi power from entering your house. Since Chi is the positive energy, restrictions on its entry are not good. If you can provide for free flowing water near the entrance, it will enhance the Chi flow into the house.

According to Feng Shui professionals, your bedroom also holds an important position in ensuring peace and wealth in the house. Black and brown colors are especially helpful in the bedroom. Metallic shades, fundamentally bronze and copper are also useful. These colors ensure that the extra light in bedroom is absorbed and so give you a tranquil sleep.

Further on, it is important that you place your Television in the right manner in the bedroom. Many of us leave their TV in an open space. Feng Shui condemns the same. You need to keep your Television in a cabinet so that you can conceal the cabinet when your Television isn’t in use. Also, ensure that there are no mirrors near the foot of the bed.

The furniture in your home is another critical factor in Feng Shui. Usage of elaborate, overwhelming furniture is not the best thing to do. Make sure that the furniture follows the smartest thing To much or too heavy furniture proscribes the theory of energy in the house. As a consequence the flow of Yin and Yang. Furniture based on the principle of zen guarantees free flow of energy usually on

Also, you wish to make note of how you position your furniture. The heaviest pieces of furniture should be placed against the walls. It is advised that you try and prepare the settee or the chairs in the room in an octagonal or round shape.

These very easy tips are enough to bring your home in acceptance of basics of Feng Shui.
